Country Club Plaza Lights
The Plaza Lighting Ceremony takes place on November 28th. The Plaza Lights are a historical stop chosen by almost every light tour in Kansas City. Thousands of lights shine across 15 blocks every day between 5pm and 3am from November 28, 2024 to January 12th, 2025. See more information on the Plaza Lights 2024 here.
Crown Center Christmas Tree
The Mayor’s Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony at Crown Center has been a favorite annual tradition for many families for more than 50 years! In 2024 the lighting ceremony takes place on November 29th at 6:30pm. The tree will remain lit and open for visitors from November 29th, 2024 to January 5th, 2025. Christmas in the Park
The Christmas in the Park annual tradition of 37 years offers more than 500,000 lights and 175 animated Christmas figures. The entire family will delight in the magic of this enchanting drive-thru winter wonderland… a gift to you from Jackson County! These lights will shine from November 27th, 2024 to December 31st, 2024 from 5:30pm - 10:00pm Sunday to Thursday and 5:30pm - 11:00pm Friday and Saturday. See more information here.
Lee’s Summit Magic Tree
The Lee’s Summit Magic Tree is a staple for Christmas in Kansas City. Make sure your family visits the tree while you’re at Christmas in the Park! It’s perfect for holiday family photos… and you can enjoy this happily lit tree with tons of colorful holiday lights! See more information here.
(NOTE: we normally do not recommend driving all the way out to see the tree unless you’re also going to Christmas in the Park, due to the longer drive to get there, as it is a fairly short stop. However, this year there is a Holiday Pop-Up Bar at this location! Check it out here!)

Candy Cane Lane
Since 1958, every house on Candy Cane Lane has been attractively decorated for each holiday season. This display of lights is worth a special visit and has a steady stream of car loads of people enjoying the holiday display. It’s recommended to start visiting any night from 5pm – 10:30pm, starting November 28th, 2024 to January 1, 2025. See more information here.
Christmas Place
The Christmas Place has been voted number one in Johnson County’s top neighborhoods to visit for Christmas lights for the last 16+ years! A double cul-de-sac of 23 homes which turns into a winter wonderland each Thanksgiving evening, giving pleasure to the thousands who drive through each night until New Years. We think you’ll love this stop, if you can fit it into your tour!
Nottingham Place
Nottingham Place has become a fan favorite for our clients over the last several years. While it is a more recent display, it is just as impressive as some of the more well-known attractions! Since 2018 this HOA display has been a highlight to swing through when down in the Overland Park area! See more information here.
Bradshaw Christmas Light Show
The Bradshaw Street Christmas Light Show is worth a stop through when in the area. The display encompasses an entire cul-de-sac of homes. Be sure to tune in to 99.9 FM once you enter the neighborhood as many of the lights are synchronized to the music and be sure to check out the talking Christmas tree! Sar-Ko Aglow Light Display (walking tour)
The unique aspect of Sar-Ko Park is the beautiful walking light tour! It’s a great opportunity to get out and stretch your legs during any light tour. The SAR-KO AGLOW Lighting Ceremony was held on December 6th, 2024 at 6pm. The park stays lit nightly from 6pm-11pm through January 20th, 2025. See more information here.
Holiday Lights on Farmstead Lane
The Holiday Lights on Farmstead Lane is a holiday light show at the Deanna Rose Farmstead! Synchronized to your favorite holiday and movie music, tune in to 90.5 FM. The show will run from November 28, 2024 to December 31, 2024. See more information here.

Holiday Luminary Walk
The Holiday Luminary Walk at the Overland Park Arboretum & Botanical Gardens has become the traditional kick-off of the holiday season for many families. Kids love the Gnome and Fairy Villages, the colorful Children’s Garden and visiting with Santa. Grown-ups appreciate the quiet walk through the winter woods and the many musical performances. Runs 5pm – 10pm from Nov 25th-Dec 30th, 2024 (not open every day). See more information and pricing here.
North Pole Acres
The North Pole Acres custom-designed, animated holiday light display features one million pixels that can change over 16 million different colors. Tune your car radio to 87.9FM and sit back and enjoy the lights dancing to music! By the time you’ve driven through this one-mile course you’ll be tempted to do it all over again! This attraction is only open daily 5:30pm – 10pm each week, and runs from November 21, 2024 to December 31, 2024. See more information and pricing here.
Winter Magic Drive-Thru in KCMO **(cannot use a commercial vehicle for this stop as of 2024)**
The Winter Magic Drive-Thru at 1800 Cliff Drive is a premiere drive through Christmas light experience your entire family will love! Featuring the longest light tunnel in the MidWest, visitors will drive through nearly one mile of mesmerizing holiday lights. Jingle! at Legends Field - NEW for 2024!
(in 2023 it was "Enchant Christmas")
Jingle! at Legends Field is new for 2024! After last year’s success with Enchant Christmas, Legends Field welcomes a brand-new holiday experience for 2024: JINGLE! From the creators of Enchant, Christmas! brings even more holiday magic to the Kansas City area, making it a must-visit destination for holiday lights and festive fun.
